Superfood guava

Why this fruit is so healthy

The guava is one of the ancient fruit trees, planted in South America since ancient times. Due to its adaptability and robustness, the plant is cultivated as a plantation crop in all tropical countries of the world.

The plants bear pear-shaped, yellow-skinned fruits that weigh up to 150g and are 5-8 centimeters long. The sweet and sour superfruits are versatile and healthy. Their vitamin C content is remarkable at 200-400mg per 100g of pulp. Besides the vitamin, the fruits also contain active ingredients such as lycopene, tannins, vitamin A and vitamin B1.
