Chaga

The vital mushroom and its applications

Chaga is a forest mushroom and native to Finland. The vital mushroom is also known in Lapland, Russia and Ukraine. It has been used as a remedy in these regions since the 12th century. The mushroom grows on various types of trees, it is especially common on birch trees.

Ingredients

The vital mushroom contains many important nutrients, including polysaccharides, polyphenols as well as melanin. It may also contain betulinic acid, which it extracts from birch trees. 

Application

Due to its ingredients, Chaga is considered anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and blood sugar-lowering. In addition, it can have positive effects on the intestinal flora.  

It is generally considered beneficial for a healthy immune system.
