Kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) is one of the best known medicinal plants in Ayurvedic medicine. The plant is also widely used in traditional Chinese medicine.
Kalmegh is native to India and Sri Lanka. It has a height of growth up to 1.10 meters.
Ingredients
The medicinal plant contains many important nutrients. Among them flavonoids, diterpenes, xanthones and nocardiodes.
Application
Due to its ingredients, Kalmegh is used for respiratory infections, fever, digestive problems and to strengthen the immune system.
